basically i think they're all Endomycorrhizal bacteria, but just different kinds. different bacteria effect the soil in different ways. some will increase PH, some with lower it. i would think you would only need to use one, and finding the proper one to use would be the best.

i have heard of this, never tried it, purely for the reason that it doesn't happen in nature, and seems odd. but i guess thats no real reason. Many people suggest it gets the plants to start flowering sooner, personally, i don't mind waiting a few more days.

it seems like you need to get a better grasp of what PH actually is, and how your roots react to changes in PH. unfortunately there is no short answer, ph is not simple. Read this, it's an awesome read that explains in depth about what ph is.
