Spider Mite and Fungus Gnat Elimination Guides

Another method not covered in the article for spider mites is the rubbing alcohol method. This involves making a foliar spray with 1 part rubbing alcohol with 2 parts water. The spray is said to kill mites on contact and evaporate fast enough to not damage the plants. I haven't used this method...

Found the sprout buried in soil

I hear ya man, I've given some little sprouts the benefit of the doubt and some really pulled through with nice meds, and others not so much. The best thing that you can do is to handle it as little as possible. I would get it into a cup with some soil keeping it moist and warm. Place under 24...

    3 Point Leaves

Here's my experience with cloning: I have found from many clonings from seed mothers that the resulting clones will generally loose a set of fingers. Cloning a 9 fingered plant will result in an offspring with a max finger count of 7. Its a weird phenomenon, but it does not affect quality. I...

    quick question

If it is truely an autoflower, it will produce flowers at any light length. I would leave it at the 20/4 or 18/6. If you have to bring the lighting down to 12/12 to induce flowering, then you don't have a true autoflower.

will a 400w HPS work throughout all the plant cycles?

You can grow under just the 400 watt hps, but it will affect the yields. Cannabis, as with most every other plant, needs a full spectrum of lighting to produce maximum yields. I would veg the plants under the hps on an 18/6 light schedule, but also add supplemental cfl or flourescent lighting...
