So i went to lowes today and bought a ph meter for about 10 dollars and i was also given a shop light from a friend and would like to know if it would do good for growing, it only takes a few moments to warm up and when it does it literally feels like a inside heater, it puts off a bunch of heat.

The top light may be useless when it starts blooming but i also have a lot of CFLs that can be placed all around the plant and add that much extra light to all areas of the plant, I do not live anywhere near a hydroponic store as i live in georgia and we highly frown upon that kinda stuff...
