I took tomato cuttings that my buddy chopped off the lower end of his plants and stuck them in the dirt, watered them, and they rooted and grew. It was definitely the weather that got the best of your cuttings. If you try the wandering jew in a more controlled environment let us know the results.

hmm.. it's been nearly 2 weeks of purely sunny weather.. the "socalled" rot is crispy dry as well. i guess it could have rotted then dried. who knows! i just hope they fatten up

So I've noticed that the bud near the main stalk and lower on the plant is starting to brown. The strain is Brown Dirt Warrior and some girls that were planted in a valley that flowered much earlier at the SAME stage of development as the girl in the pics below were much fatter at this time...

This is my other girl up higher in the mountains. Same feeding schedule except the pics are take a couple days after the first urine dose. She's obviously further behind in flowing because of the longer days on the ridge she's growing on.

Stick with what you know man.. Feed it you high P guano in tea form until 2 weeks before harvest at which point you'll flush with water. Are you outside? I feed my girls once every two weeks with guano, molasses, bacteria juice, and worm castings bubbled for 2-3 days. You know what I mean...
