Ill just have to go get a handheld microscope. I have a celestron digital microscope right now. It does 10x or 150x and like i said the led's are super bright. Im gonna try to block them off as suggested first.

The problem i have is the 2 led lights on the microscope shine so bright i cant tell if the trichs are clear or cloudy. i can see some light amber but not a lot of it.

This plant looks ready to me but im not 100%. It is THC Bomb from Bomb Seeds @8.5 weeks. I have a hard time telling the cloudy trichs from the clear under the scope i have. I was thinking 1 more week, what do ya think ?

I use a 600w in a 4x4 tent and i think its the perfect amount. I had a 1000w in a 5x5 room and i could only fit one more plant in there, I have the same yield per plant now. So it wasnt worth the electric cost and trying to keep it cool for one more plant, i did the math and it was a huge loss...

Im not exactly sure but this late in your grow it seems like the seed would be a little white ball in there if it was a seed. The inside of the calyx from what i seen will have a green pouch or underdeveloped green shell as you put it. I would honestly stay with the grow and not worry so much...

Looks like calyx to me, cut one off and open it.... The more i look at it the more i see a calyx. I just grew some 60 day wonder that looked just like that and out of 5 plants had not one seed.
