This is my first grow ever and I am going into the 7th week of flowering for my deadhead OG and Skywalker OG. Flowers are getting frosty and the hairs are turning more red. I looked at the trichomes and still clear. Here is a few pictures. Any idea how much longer before harvest? My friend said...

If you use ready rooters do you need to use cloning gel? Someone told me no cloning gel is needed.

Mosquito dunks work like a charm for me. I crushed up a 1/4 dunk and sprinkled on top and water regularly to my schedule, then boom in a few days those suckers were gone. Also topped my soil with perlite.

Every time I clone, I use Olivia's Cloning gel. I have had the same big bottle for over two years and there isn't an exp. date. Does anyone know if cloning gel goes bad? Thanks in advance! :-o

What strain is this? I have OGs and they tend to have redish purple stems but its part of the genetics I heard.

Maybe aphids? I used an concoction of cinnamon, lemon and cayenne pepper sprayed them on the leaves for 10 minutes and wiped them. Also topped soil with perlite and used mosquito dunks and haven't had any other issues with those little pests.

I would of personally vegged them a little longer but they still look good. Good luck and post more pics after the flowers start to show :)

Indeed it is, I am just grateful to have this awesome forum and good reads. When I first got some of my clones a few were sick and I just kept a positive attitude and nursed them back to life. It's pretty awesome all the feedback and love you get here. So just keep asking questions and post away...

They are hybrids. My deadhead is supposed to be an indica dominant but it's not looking that way. And Skywalker is supposed to be indica dominant as well and the flowers are looking much denser. Will post more pics soon ;)

Thanks you guys! I am using 8-42 watt cfls eqv to 150watt and pushing out 2700 lumens. Also I just got my new lights for my next grow. 600 watt MH for vegging and 1000 watt HPS for flowering. Just going to build up the space in a month or so. ;-)
