I haven't been back to this thread in several weeks. Thank you all for your replies. I did do some thinning of lower leaves, but I didn't defoliate. These plants are getting over 8 hours a day of direct sunshine ( I love my wife... ) I'm thinking I've got several weeks of flowering time...

The girls have been flowering for two or three weeks. You can see in the picture that the hairs are starting to 'brown' at the tips. When do I need to cut this baby down? thanks.

These are autoflowers, growing in 5-gal buckets outside in natural light. Leaf density is not so great that light isn't penetrating, in fact most colas have extended beyond the major leaf sets. I just want (like all of us...0 the biggest, densest buds I can get... :-)

I've heard both sides of this argument, 1, strip the leaves so more resin/THC/energy goes to bud development, and 2., don't defoliate as the leaves produce the energy that goes to bed development. If I do defoliate, when and how much? thanks much...

I've been waiting patiently, looking at them only about 4 - 5 times every hour, and I thinking the girls are getting ready to flower. any of you experienced folks care agree? thanks!!

I planted some Cali Haze autoflower in a 5-gallon bucket around April 1. It is grown outside with only natural lighting. She poked up about a week later, and is growing really well. Attitude says it is a 8-14 week auto-flower, but I still don't see any signs of flowering. Great leaf...

I'm not really that high... :lol: I didn't mean veg again, I meant you veg for about 6-8 weeks of the total time. Although I can see how I wrote it confusing. Bottom line though, you plant them and forget them for about the 14-16 weeks. and regarding the 12/12, that's just what I've read...

So if I buy auto-flower seeds, say 14 - 16 week, does that mean that roughly within that time range from when it sprouts, it will be ready for harvest? And, if I'm understanding correctly you veg for again, roughly 6 - 8 weeks - by which time it should have shown sex. And at this point if...

I've got back up to the back up; a photo flower sour Blueberry out in the back. And I'm starting another Russian Rocket fuel. I've got until September for it to grow... Highly unlikely I can decontaminate the grow area sufficiently. It's in the loft over the shed. dark, dirty and messy...

Your welcome to a laugh newbie213, but don't be a dick. We're all doing this for the same reasons, and there's no reasons to be mean. If ya got nothing helpful to say then just read quietly and laugh to yourself.

This was my first indoor grow. I'm an old-timer... back 'in the day' we planted in some farmers back fields and we just used to grow for leaf believe it or not. These Seeds were purchased and came from a seed bank. They were feminized. I'm guessing that temp may have been the problem...

Not sure... this is the only one growing under lights. it's an auto-flower, supposedly feminized (yeah, right!) and It's been under the lights 24/7 for about 10 weeks. it began flowering about 2 weeks ago maybe... My other auto-flowers (outside under real light) don't even appear close to...
