Read through the posts. 42 watt, 2700K CFLs... not 42 watt equivalent.

Buds for Less - CFL BOOK

Yes. I was going to go that route but decided to buy an HID. I'm still using his soil and watering methods and the results are fine. The cost of those CFLs has gone up since the book was first published and it made more sense for me to buy and HID, rather than three CFLs per plant. Common...

Buds for Less - CFL BOOK

That's just your opinion. I am pretty sure you have not read the book, yet you make all these statements about what it should say. Have a read through it before you judge. Try it before your condem it. You uneducated guesses are unfounded.

Buds for Less - CFL BOOK

It was one mango seed and two blue dot clones in the book and I don't recall seeing anywhere that the grow started from 12/12. You're friend will need to run veg and flower light cycles. Follow the instructions on how to prepare pots and water them properly and he/she should be okay. It is very...

First CFL Grow, Check It Out

From what I have read there are two schools of thought on when to harvest: 1. Harvest when 70% - 80% of the hairs turn red. 2. Harvest when the trichhomes look optimal under a 30x magnifier. I'd opt for #2.

    Misting your plants

Misting and maintaining a proper humidity level is very good for the plants. It helps keep pests away, especially misting the leaves regularly. Just don't drown them. A fine spray of mist is all they need to deter infestation.

Thank you very much! I appreciate the response. Sorry if I was the source of confusion :) That makes it crystal clear... one set of bulbs from start to finish. 42 watts (150 watt equivelant), 2700K.

lol - I know that. What made you think I wasn't aware of that? He recently replied stating that he used one set of bulbs... but did not indicate which Kelvin rating he used. I asked him directly. Lots of others have chimed in with their opinions but I would like to know what he used...

Buds for Less - CFL BOOK

Well, the title of the book suggests a budget that would allow for only one set of bulbs for the entire grow. If that was the case then a flowering spectrum would be needed to grow from start to finish with a single set of bulbs - 2700K... But that's just my assumption. A simple confirmatiom...

Buds for Less - CFL BOOK

Why experiment when the author can tell us which bulbs he used? We'd like to be able to replicate what he did and this is a vital piece of imformation.

Defense... I'm not defending myself or anyone else??? I'm just observing what is happening. You're stirring because it was over and we all moved on... until you dug it up! I love it when law enforcement comes here and tries to start sh*t I think you're projecting.

So you're saying you have more right to voice your opinion(s) than someone with less posts than you? How far back was that post anyway? Seems like you're the one stirring it up. It was already over.

Buds for Less - CFL BOOK

I'd like clarification on this as well please. I know 6500K is for veg and 2700k is for flowering but what did you use in the book? Thank you.
