I have a hydrofarm ebb and grow 5 gal system. The roots keep clogging the drain lines in early flower, I even trimmed the roots twice in veg. Any suggestions to solve this problem? It's really a pain, has killed a few plants already. I am thinking fabric pots in the unit or possible paint...

In my last run with this system (5gal) , my plants all grew roots into the drain and caused many problems. Any suggestions on how to control the roots better ?Also, what's the best temp for the water ? Thanks

Is it safe/smart to vent hot air into an air return for a furnace/ac? (or pull air from a return?) What one would be better? Thanks.
