I definitely plan to get an air cooled hood for sure. I guess what you mean by "gonna flower with" is that the lights will need to be much closer to the plants at flowering time, and light heat will even be more of an issue, right? But yes, room vents and better a better hood is a must and will...

I'm thinking it will keep the temp close to the same, but also enable the plants to grow at the same rate, but at a reduced cost.

I think that is what I'll do Genuity. That seems to make the most sense to me as well. Plus it will help with the heat in the room until I get an inline fan.
