No return duct in the room.

I have the central ac going but no return duct going. I run into the same issue in the winter with the heat. There is no smell whatsoever outside the room but for some reason it comes thru the vents.

Grab one of those hyper inline fans. They run quiet and are powerful. That will really help cool those lights.
