ventilation issues

What's up everyone? First post to this site. Been growing for a while but I'm having a smell problem. I have two carbon filters in my grow room and have really no issues . But when I kick on the ac since its getting hot outside I'm getting the smell coming thru the vents. Any suggestions on how to stop this.

So you have central A/C going to and a return duct in the room?

Suggestion......can't think of anything that would work in that type of scenario.

I mean you could try a carbon filter over the return, don't think that would help much.

I have the central ac going but no return duct going. I run into the same issue in the winter with the heat. There is no smell whatsoever outside the room but for some reason it comes thru the vents.

have you changed out to fresh new (and possibly even containing active carbon) filters on the furnace? Also, make sure your evap. coil @ the bottom of your furnace isnt covered in weed scented dust bunnies.

Personally, I'd clean the entire ducting system, change out the filters on the furnace, drop an ozone generator just in front of the furnace inside a duct, with a register fan at the end of the line. (gotta mix that O3 air a bit, and don't put it in with your plants)

Peek at these, they are kinda meant for pet odor, but hey, odors odor in my book.

can also consider carbon padding (can get it in cut to fit rolls) to just kinda go nuts w/ anywhere you got airflow :)
