    Yeah, bury the stem. Roots will grow in the absence of light, so roots will grow from whatever is buried.

    How close are the plants to the lights? If the plant gets too close to a light, it will burn them like that. Even if it's only close for like 20 seconds. It tends to happen in flowing as the plant shoots up and gets close to the light.

    At 98 degrees, watering the leaves most definitely will burn them. Your humidity isn't bad, but that room needs to be in the 75 - 85 range at least. A good fan will work, but you need in inlet and exhaust. Air needs to be cycled out, if you just bring it in, that 600 w is gonna cook the room...

    Fungus gnats are a pain in the ass. The adults lay eggs in the soil and the larvae eat your roots. This can cause the brown spots as all the new root growth gets eaten. One adult lays 300 eggs per week. If you see 5 of those fuckers flying around, you probably have 1000's eating your roots...

    Hermi plants do not come from vegging too long, and are in fact part of the genetics of the plant. From a growing standpoint, hermi plants are bad, but as an evolutionary mechanism, it means the plant has strong genetics. I'm not familiar with the vendor you bought it from, but feminized...
