It does seem kind of airy, but it's still quite dense. Shribbling up a bit now too.. smokes nice though (had a few broken nugs which are now dry). I fed it strong flower nutes up until harvest, too, didn't flush it.. Will have another update coming as soon as it's dry and I can properly weigh it.

CHOPPED today! Day 75 of flower and it was just time. I think it could have kept budding, but I wanted to chop it earlier rather than later. I saw a few small 'nanners' on there, but overall it looks like it's in good shape. I hope to get ~2oz, but will be happy with at least 1.. :D

Ok I think it's done. No real growth in week or so, other than a few budlets here and there, and some more trichomes. I'm calling it. I switched it to plain water last night and will do that for the next 2 nights. The next 2 nights will also be 0 light, and we'll see if we get more trichomes...

It was just bagseed, but that doesn't mean it sucks - and clearly it doesn't. I tried a sample nug last night (broke off a few days ago, and let it dry out) - it gets my and the wife's approval! :D

Day 106 (64 of flower).. Took it outside to trim & harvest today - not quite ready I guess though, lots of early buds still not yet fully formed.. Trichomes are like 20% clear, 75% cloudy, and 5% amber.. trimmed off ALL the fan leaves, which exposed a lot more of the undergrowth.. gonna let it...

I picked up a cheap 60x loupe, and from what I could tell 2 days ago, there are like 50% clear, 45% cloudy, and 5% amber.. so I'm gonna try to hold off a few more days. Probably pluck a top leaf and check it again in a few more days and then compare, and see how fast it's ripening, and then...

I would say you should wait another week or two. It will phatten up yet..

Looks better than mine did on day 28, but I think yours was vegged longer.. I only vegged mine like a week..

What kind of light did you use? It looked like a CFL, how many/watts? I would think you'd need at least 50w if not more because of the height - how close was the bulb during flower, after the stretch? It looks like minor nute burn but in my book that's not a bad thing to do.. how often did...

A couple calyxes being formed still haven't blossomed after 2 days of me noticing and monitoring them, so I think it's stalled growing.. does the plant do this when it's ready?? I don't want to be too eager to chop it, but I also don't want to harvest too late - dislike the couch lock buzz..

It looks exactly like it did 4 days ago, so I think it's done... Gonna starve it of water a day and then take away the light for a day, and then chop it.. sound reasonable?

Damn Doc, wish you the best in your journey on your new life. I dream of doing the same (currently still grinding the silicon valley job) but as I get a bit older I will do the same as you and "retire" to a more sane lifestyle... Good luck and hope you continue to grow and post! Care to add any...
