    cupping leaves????

I will tell you though the cause of the tacoing leaves is from low RH a lot of the times. I'm absolutely certain it was in my cases. I wish I had some before and after pics I could show you. The reason the lower leaves are tacoing and not the uppers is because the upper leaves are newer growth...

    cupping leaves????

Most of them are ineffective and a waist of money. If you want one that actually works this is the one you want. I've tried multiple humidifiers and this guy right here is the only one that could raise the RH up to appropriate levels with ease. The hygrometer on it is very accurate and...

    cupping leaves????

When the RH in the room is very low this tends to happen. The few times this happened to me the RH was in the 20s and each time I raised it the leaves flattened out within a few days.

    Curing..Buds to dry?

I was told to have the RH in between 45% and 55%, I had a feeling that was kind of low. Should I still burp the jars if the RH doesn't go over 57% in a day? The room temperature outside of the jars is 72F and the RH is around 45%. Should I throw a boveda pack in there I have a few 62s?

    Curing..Buds to dry?

I just dried out a few plants for 6 days and moved them over to jars about 15 hours ago and my hygrometer inside the jar is reading only 54%. Did I mess something up here or does it usually take longer for the RH to climb? I don't understand I thought I did everything right, I dried for 6 days...

    Drying room ventilation

So with the humidity controller basically you are gradually lowering the RH little by little. Wouldn't this work only if the enviroments RH is on the higher side? Like my RH in my house is 40% so I'm using a humidifier to boost it up to 55-60%. How would I use this? Thanks

Starting seed in hydroton w/o rockwool?

I have never grown in hydroton before and am new to hydro altogether but Im thinking of giving DWC a shot my next time around. I have a question, I made a DWC system out of a 5 gallon bucket and the net pot that I am using is 6 inches. If I fill the net pot with hydroton, how deep do I plant...

    Drying room ventilation

Thanks az, I turned it down to 40 volts and it seems to be running just enough to move some air. Like if I put my hand in front of the blower I can barely feel it but thats all I really need correct? What is the ideal range of humidity for drying, how high is to high?

    Drying room ventilation

I am drying a couple plants in a 3'x3'x7' tent. I cut the plant into branches and have them hanging. I left the small sugar leaves on and removed the larger ones. My RH is between 55-60%. I have a 6 inch oscillating fan running on low at the bottom of the tent blowing straight and not up...

    Need help with drying conditions

Trying to figure something out here. Plant is just about ready to harvest, everything looks good other than the low RH thats around 25%. I just purchased a nice evaporative humidifier with a built in hygrometer that seems to be very accurate with my potable hygrometers. It blows cool air...

Why is Fox Farms so acidic

Anything I use from Fox Farms requires a large amount of PH up to get it right. Soils, nutrients, fertilizers, anything! Anyone else notice this? Last time around I used their soil mix FF Ocean Forest and the run off water PH would come out 2 to 3 points lower then what I poured in without fail...

    Cant raise the damn RH

Same, as much as I would like to it is a headache especially when the ways I try are not effective. And my tap is not RO so I would have to go through a shit ton of bottled distilled water to keep a humidifier going. The water here is pretty hard so when I use tap I get this white powder shit...

    Cant raise the damn RH

How do you maintain your RH levels throughout the entire grow? Are your conditions optimal or do you run a humidifier throughout? Luckily here in NJ its only the winter months when the RH drops. At least in my house it does

    Cant raise the damn RH

Heres the thing, I have a small tent 2.5' x 2.5' x 7'. The room that its in is like 15' x 15'. I placed the humidifier in the middle of the room and eventually the room gets up to around 50-53% but the tent only up to 40%. So it works in the room but the tent stays to low for some reason.
