before the humidifier my RH was at 30%. Now with it on full blast I got it in the low 40s. Do you think thats good enough to dry a harvest?

if you're ready for harvest, it's a little late to be worrying about your r/h. 40% isn't all that bad. i use a small swamp cooler and it works great.

Heres the thing, I have a small tent 2.5' x 2.5' x 7'. The room that its in is like 15' x 15'. I placed the humidifier in the middle of the room and eventually the room gets up to around 50-53% but the tent only up to 40%. So it works in the room but the tent stays to low for some reason.

i looked at both of those units, and i'm a bit skeptical. unless your area already has a high r/h, it seems impossible. i live in the desert, with very low r/h and it takes gallons per day to get those kind of numbers. those things must be a couple feet tall with 3 gal. water supply, no???

40 is ok for drying jus keep ur temps down

the one i posted takes about 1 gal/day to go from 20% to 50% in closed room with lite exchange.... having been thinking of moving back to New Mex, is it a pain to grow outdoors there? dust, low RH, high temps, ect..

most places r/h is extremely low. i kind of bounce back and forth between there and s.w. co. i've never done an official outdoor grow.

I belive the unit I posted holds 2 gallons , and I also live in the desert I inly use it for drying other then that could care less about humidity , it works great . It runs on a thermostat do it turns it self off and comes on by itself is why I like it

so you don't maintain r/h levels during your grow? wow, you're really shooting yourself in the foot there. it's pretty important, but to each his own...
Well I'm pretty close to a gram a watt without co2 so as long as I keep pullin buds like this I would rather not spend the money or headache trying to keep my humidity up . but like us send to each his own

How do you maintain your RH levels throughout the entire grow? Are your conditions optimal or do you run a humidifier throughout? Luckily here in NJ its only the winter months when the RH drops. At least in my house it does

Same, as much as I would like to it is a headache especially when the ways I try are not effective. And my tap is not RO so I would have to go through a shit ton of bottled distilled water to keep a humidifier going. The water here is pretty hard so when I use tap I get this white powder shit everywhere. I do put bowls of water in the room sometimes but it doesn't really do much.
