it was actually a good tip imo.... because it is the truth. you probably wont have fun mainlining your clone but with topping, training, defoliating, pruning... you have plenty of tools to work with to slap that lady into shape

sorry about that haha. I am VERY new. I dont flower at 18/6.... I should not have called it my flower tent. I am flowering in it right now but I just flipped them to 12/12. They were vegging in my 4'x8'x6' at 18/6 because it just made much more sense. I was having heat problems/cut out 6 hours...

The way that I understood it was that "topping" was pinching the tops and "supercropping" is gently breaking stems so that you can control stretching and growth in general....

I do 18/6 in my flower tent but I only have 2 timers, so in my closet, where I start my clones, I run a t5 ho 24hours.... my clones love it, 100%rooted

im growing sativas but no stretching. You def need more light if youre getting so much stretching with the light right at the top of the dome. How many watts of cfl's do you have?

like Bob said.... that 400 watt bulb is hot. Do you have ballast for that bulb?

Are you using cooltubes with an inline fan? I did the same thing. Hooked up all of my crap without considering my circuits limitation. I took back the $300 a.c. and used only inline fan to cooltubes and passive intakes. It's working great now but outside the temps have been low 70s. ...I will...

I have a 4ft t5 ho dual light fixture over clones on the top shelf in my closet. 100% rooted and I have already topped each one and each have responded strongly. I have since bought a new veg tent but haven't set it up yet because my little plants are holding up great in there.

I had the same issue and FORTUNATELY was able to buy cooltubes and an inline fan. Problem solved. Proper airflow will bring your temp way down.

I use trays beneath my plants and sop the water out with a shamwow. Haha. It works fine for 8 plants.

It's been a lot of work but SO exciting! Especially now that I'm seeing flowers!

Thanks! Just in a light soapy water? Or just a good rinse? This dirt is a bummer though. It's so dry and abundant I feel like it will end up ruining the rigid filter material before too long. I guess I can just take it down and blow it out with an air compressor? Any way, thanks a lot for the tip!

Took a second once I stopped panicking. Just slipped off the prefilter and slapped it around. My temps immediately dropped.

My tent is running hot today, 90F, and with the temp here being 68 it should be much lower. I have a lot of dry dirt in my back yard so a lot of dust is sucked into my grows intakes. The white sock on the outside of my filter is caked with dirt and I believe it is slowing the airflow. I don't...

My meter, i think, measures EC but translates it into ppm. maybe I can change the mode to show EC? I'm all for simple. would it be fine to start introducing silica to my plants?
