like Bob said.... that 400 watt bulb is hot. Do you have ballast for that bulb?

no i don't have ballast i live in mauritius ...it is difficult to find it here..
but i can i grow without it

Get you a couple t8 shop lights start with cool white in veg then go warm (yellow) for flower or get t5s same bulbs

Depending on plant size. Should get AROUND 4'x4' area. Everything is up to you. You can fill it with one plant, vegging for a while, or put a bunch of clones in there and go 12/12 right away. Pros & cons to both! Only you can find "your way", grasshopper.
