I run 4 per light in 7 gallons. Seems to be the best mix of veg time and yield for my situation.

I use a 55gal drum from Craigslist with a lid, 600gph pump tied to black hydro flex tubing. At each plant site I have rainbird 4gph emitters and two per plant location. Outside of the pump the system is less then $100. Water cycles are controlled by a timer.

You talking about Bonzai Hero’s? I used them for years 15 years ago or so and would not recommend them today. If you need to save time look at the Trimbag, it’s looks hokey but I bring down a bunch using a couple of them, they cost $250 and my broker actually said this is the best hand trimmed...

If your in a legal state, get on Craigslist. Shit I have 8 1000w on there now. You should be able to find some better lighting on the cheap. You could even get a Chinese 315 from dh gate and have a much better experience. With reasonable lighting you’ll find things will go much more smoothly.

I grow succulents and cactus as well. You can find a great source online for pach cuttings. Growing specifically to harvest the good stuff for personal use is possible. Sacred cactus has a nice selection of torches, bridgesii and San Pedro all three are active. I would probably stick to them...
