1 1kwatt gavita in a 5x5

Need some opinions on the best way to cool 1 gavita 1000e de in a 5x5 gorilla tent.i will be adding the extension to make the tent 7'11 tall since my ceilings are only 8'. Im only growing about 6 plants and id like to get em around 4 feet tall that way i have enough space between my lights and the top of the plants.. If theres any other lights that are around the same price that can produce the same results without the heat id be open to hear about em as well. Thanks in advance

Get a Timber Fatty VS, you will get much better results with the limited height in your tent.

Timber rocks...just started with two 3vl models alongside some other led to catch dropoff on the sides of space.
Very professional quality lights. My plants are loving them.

I don’t think you’ll have a easy time cooling that bulb in that tent.

I ran 2x 600w in a 4x4 just using 2x 6" air cooled hoods and a 6" exhaust. Ambient room temp 68F. Tent ran @ 79-80. I think you'd be more than good if you bumped it up to a 8". Might not even need too.


I run 1x 1000W se in the 4x4 now and temp only raises 6 degrees with exhaust on low.

My 8" exhaust handles 2x 1000W se in air cooled hoods and a 315w cmh just in a bat wing in a 4x8 with no issues...
