i understand bigger is better when it comes to pots but due to stealth reasons im growing in a pc case... i have a european square pot but, it is tall and doesnt leave much space for growth .. i was thinking about using a 1 gallon pot to make some more room for vertical growth instead.. i dont want to transplant at all so will one gallon get me through the whole grow.. ?

please save the smart ass comments about using 5 gallon buckets and hps' because for me this is not possible thank you..bongsmilie

your plant takes on the shape of your pot, a taller skinnier
pot makes a taller skinnier plant, a short wide pot makes for
a wider short plant..... I'm not sure how this will affect your
AF strain, I guess it depends on the strain..

i was wondering this same thing,i plan on growing blue dream and nice guy in my next grow. i built a 4ft tall x 3ft wide x 6ft long box(was built for something else but never used). I want to use one gallon pots to get more plants in the space.

i just finished my first auto. i only grew it because it was free. it was in a 3 gallon pot, and it got to about 2 feet tall. maybe 2.5. anyways, i just trimmed it, and even thought hte bud got really stretched out from being potbound, the resin production was something for the ages. there were fuggin THC crystals on the main stem between the buds (when the buds wer 3 inches or closer together.

i havent changed my mind about ruderalis, but dam that was some lovely finger hash.

BTW, it was a seed of pakistani lowryder they they gave me for free.

Yes you can certainly grow in a 1 gal pot, I do it. The girls do become rootbound and sure it will hurt the overall yield but definitely better than not growing at all!
