1 week seedling problems

48x48x72 tent
600w MH w/ 6" inline fan 240cfm
DWC 10 gal tote
74 degrees steady
45% humidity constant
1 Northern Lights #5 x Haze
1 Jack Herer auto fem
germinated in Rapid Rooters - sprouted on day 4. Transferred to Hydroton/net pot after 7th day
JH seed looked a little weak after germinating and I am pretty sure it is toast today. It never unfurled after the cotyledons and laid over
The Northern Light looks Ok, but after 7 days it should be bigger - right? It has been leaning over so i supported with paper plate as seen in pics.
I had the lights at 3 feet above on 50% first 2 days - then 75% since. I did lower the lights today so I dont get leggy, but they just dont seem to be doing well.
Should I wait until I see roots to put in DWC system?
Am I screwing up with light?
I started 2 more JH seeds to replace the dead soldier today and they are too expensive to keep killing..lol

Looks like you drowned the dead one.

I find seedlings are harder to start in hydroton. If the tap root isn't getting to the water, or isnt getting enough air, this happens. This is why I like clones.

Next time, don't go by time/days. Instead, watch your plants strength. Transplant when the roots are strong enough.

75% RH ? any way just let it grow - to early yo tell aything -except light source is to far - this is why it's streched

Try to c if u can save them, increase humidity to 70-80% seedlings like high humidity, also never transplant before at least two weeks or so, or when u have some foliage going on. GL

i have 2 one week old ones their doing just fine just leave em alone...

IMO rapid rooters are more for soil, not hydro.

rockwool better for hydro?
also the 75% was the setting on my ballast - tropic,,,,
