1 whole week of light while in bud?

Iv been told that while in bud sometimes you can put your plants on 1 week on constant light to force plants back into veg to create new bud sites hence more yeild anybody done this and got any advice? Im on 4th week of bud ?

I'd be more concerned with shocking/stressing the plant too much and causing a hermie to appear. Just my 2 cents

When I was young, I was told about 'Santa' and the 'Easter Bunny' Usually from my young friends, whom still believed in fairy tales...
I guess I've been pretty cynical my whole life...

Im not going to do it i was just asking if anybody had done it and if so does it work

Yes, it works. Say you were to harvest a plant, leaving enough of the lower airy buds and some foliage behind... if you put that under 24 hours of light and just leave it be then with any luck you should start to see new leafy growth, and branching.

Nullis said it best, re vegging is done after colas and some buds are removed.
I would guess you have to leave enough foliage for the plant to be able to use the 24 hour light phase.
as for goin Hermie, I think that is a strain defendant character.

Im a noob and I have done "everything wrong" and out of twenty original plants culled down to my 5 females,
I have yet to cause a hermaphrodite.
I germinated 20 seeds on July 9th, I'm flowering the second female now, the other 3 remain in my veg space.
thats over 5 months old in my Veg, I've almost killed them twice by being hospitalized.
my GF only had pre made food for my Flower tent.

A week of 24 hours light isn't going to switch it back to vegetative growth. You're just gonna confuse it in my opinion and it will just sit there and do not much of anything for the better part of a month.
