10 one month old plants under a bed just started flowering need help with lights!!!!

Okay so right here is a week ago i guess about 3 weeks old, all plants are kinda big but needed more light for flowering so i replaced half the lights with 2700k spectrum. now have 2 2700k 23watt and 1 40 watt 2700k, along with 2 40 watt 5500k spectrum.

Now i decided to lst them because of the tiny amount of space under my bed frame only about 23 inches (take into account 5” pot and 5” for cfls which leaves only 13"

i bent them down with a bunch of green yarn and it has seemed to work amazing, it took three days and started a day after tho top photos were taken.. flowering started the first day of bending. now in 6 days of flowering.

Help me out with lights what do i need for extra lighting? maybe make a light with 6 23 watt lights and have it spread out above the canopy or need more watts? should i keep the 5500k or ditch them and only use 2700k..?

any other help would be great thanks here are pics of the new set up because they were too big, etc. All help will be great even put in your input! brand new on the forum and this is my first inside grow on my own, let me know your thoughts! constructive criticism encouraged.

Those actually look pretty damn good. There doesn't seem to be a lot of stretch going on, which is kind of what I would expect to see with CFLs.

One thing I can say is you're loosing a lot of light (particularly to the ceiling). It looks like one of your socket\fixtures is a work light\lamp that would have come with a metal parabolic reflector. Perhaps this was too big or bulky for your set up, they also sell smaller versions of those at Lowes\Home Depot. I would highly recommend doing something to maximize the reflectivity in there and make sure as much of the light as possible is going where you want it... on the plants.

Don't fuss with mirrors or aluminum foil or anything like that. Get a roll of some white sticky paper or some Mylar to put on the walls and especially the ceiling in there.

seem to have enough light for the stage there at now. as they go into flowering and grow in height make sure to keep the clfs under and on the sides of the plants too for a better yield

You may be better off with some tubes instead of the cfl's. If you hit a few thrift stores you can find the 4' long 2 bulb shop lights that use T8 bulbs cheap. They take up less than 3" overall in depth, and with the reflector built in you get more of your light directed down on your plants. I've flowered with T8's 3000k and gotten better results than with small cfls.

I see the # of plants being your biggest problem unless you have lots of room to spread them out. But each plant will need at least 1 sq ft of space, and that will be tight. Cramming more plants into the same space will not increase your yield. Looking at your tote I wouldn't try more than 8,,,,, 5 or 6 would be better.

hey, thanks for the info i will do some research, i am constructing a light the has 3 light sockets and in those will go 3 light socket splitters to have 6 spots for cfls spaced perfectly im thinking a couple 40s and 4 23s, either way itll be over 150 watts and should help if i spread them out across the whole tote? also i have 9 solid plants now 1 got cut in half so i just have it lingering there to see what happens and its top part i made into 2 clones just to give it a try and even if they work ill probably just throw them out.. 4 are feminised and the other 5 who knows so im sure ill have about 6-7 good girls by the end.

they look great man! i would for sure tho try and find a way to really direct that light to the plants and maximize what your using, but over all they looks killer.
