hello everyone,

i have been vegging 10 plants for about 4 weeks now from clone. some are in 3gallon bags and some are in 5 gallon bags. they are approx 14"-18" tall. how much longer should i veg them? my buddy wants to throw them into flowering right away, but i think they could get quite a bit bigger and still be manageable.

thanks!

Hello, you can really put your plants into flower once there atleast a foot tall but some people even do it earlier so its personal prefrence and how much room you have to grow in, remember your plant will double in size when it goes into flowering. best of luck to you.

thanks hectorius... that is exactly the kind of advice i was looking for! so by rotating the plants i can stretch my and effectively cover more area? i have a 2nd 1000w in my 5'x10' flowering chamber but i'm afraid of running both in the middle of summer since it's so hot here.

one more question. approx how big can i expect the plants to get if i veg til 26"?

thanks!!

in 7 gallon anywhere from 4 feet to 5 feet depending on strain but by putting the light horizontally down the middle u dont lose light and the plants dont stretch as much up instead concentrate on growing fat buds towards the light, when u rotate the whole plant goes crazy reaching for the light.

oh i see. you mean the light is hung vertically and plants surround it in a circle? my flowering chamber is 5'x10' so i can't do too many plants using that method. some of the plants are getting to be 16" tall now, i had to raise the light a bit. i'm thinking that i may wait another week or so before throwing them into flower. they should be around 20"-22" then.
