now these signs will be seen from the air and all the choppers who will report on this while traffic is backed up for miles behind these trucks

the trucks just keep driving at the slowest speed allowable round and round the highway untill they are somhow pulled over.

I dont see any laws being broken, maybe disterbing the peace

anyway this incident will make national news

then copy cats can arrange thier own truck missions blocking the highway like this in thier cities

eventually it would become maybe a tradition for people in cities around the USA and all over the world to pull this stunt off on April 20th at 4:20 of every year


i bet the whole world would talk about it then


what do think, all we need it 6 ballzy individials to do this first run, say on the widest part of I85 going through atlanta GA i think its 6 or 8 lanes

you would make the news within minets if we did that

you would have to do it country wide to show how people support it...... and they dont want a couple hundred thousand people pissed kus no ones listening to um, driving around in semi's, and uhal's. haha

i will agree that alcohol is alot worse then weed in over amounts,but to call weed harmless is not true,my hippie uncle had a lung removed and the other is black as tar,my cousin can not go an hour with out a joint his lungs are cooked,i worked with a welder that got high every break he was so stoned he put the oxy eccetaline torch to my clothes, when i freaked he said in his jamaican accent chill man the herb got me all messed up,i punched him out and lost a cheque,he was always spaced out,when i toked at work on the rigs,i made some mental mistakes that i would not of made strait,i almost killed a guy with the cherry picker i never smoked at work again.their is a time and place for all things in moderation.i dont like when the drug controls me not me controlling the drug,but of all the things ive been addicted too and its been everything,weed is the less harmfull,unless i smoke enough to cough out big wads of tar every mourning and i feel like kicking back when i have things to do.should weed be legal hell ya.

Simple solutions. Vaporization.....and/or THC extraction via cooking, etc. Sure, smoking is fun, and the flavor can be awesome....but if you're vaping it or eating extracted thc....I'm thinking its 99% HARMLESS.

its the person that makes those choices though. your right too though... ik how to control my buds, and my budweiser..


yea vaporizers do remove pretty much everything... but smoking it is just so much better.

As far as the the trucks thing goes, whoa horrible idea. You don't get people to side with your cause by pissing them all off. However the time is right to do something big and really try to make a change but it will have to be extremely well thought out and all the details of what you're trying to sell to the public (what will it mean money, energy, security, environment, etc wise.) Those all need to be well thought out and all added up and then a short proposal written up explaining it all and asking people to rally to our cause all at the same time across the country. Non violent, not intentionally disruptive, clever, and most importantly as you said NEWS WORTHY and impossible to ignore.

People around the country now know change is possible and 10 million are already out of work. That's a lot of people with a lot of free time, with many more to come we hear. So I think it should be no problem getting massive numbers of people to actually show up to something.

Whether it can actually succeed now to create the full about face we seek is questionable at best no matter what, it has to be really brilliant, but I'd be willing to chip in any amount of work and planning to make something happen.

It would need to be done in conjunction with every other site like this and preferrably include NORML, and any other organization willing to sign on in support. Black rights organizations, civil rights, disabilities groups, you name it every single thread of support all at once putting their foot down.

Probably something that would take months to put together and be best suited for summer. Hempfest gone postal.

I like the idea, but i think people would be pissed that you messed with their traffic flow.

But you HAVE to do something.

I think this christmas i am going to make three giant banners and hang them off the overpass in my town.

The middle one will have a big pot leaf on it and in black writing on it it will say "Merry Christmas". On the banner next to it, on the left, the banner will read "Hemp can save the world" and on the banner to the right of it it will read "Secure your Pension, Secure your Healthcare, LEGALIZE IT!!"

There is absolutely NO FUCKING QUESTION in my mind that alcohol is a whole lot worse than Cannabis. There is no telling where I would be right now in life were it NOT for alcohol. I quit smoking pot in college, and started drinking alcohol. The damage I did to my self and family stands as a shining example of what alcohol will do to you. There is NO SUCH THING as moderation for the alcoholic, and I spent 25 years trying to push excess to it's limits. Fortunately for me, I met a great woman who was willing to "overlook" my short comings just long enough for e to see that if I continued down the trail I was on, I was going to lose everything that I hold dear, like her, my kids, and everything. I now compare alcohol to crack or heroin. They are all equally physically (and mentally) addictive.

The examples you used to say that pot is dangerous don't hold water, as your examples are more an abuse or misuse of the drug than anything. Like you said, there is a time and place for everything in moderation. Even cough syrup tells you not to operate heavy equipment, or drive when using it. Smoking pot while on an oil rig, while welding, bungee jumping, or any other activity that could result in serious injury or death proves a lack of good judgement rather than any danger of marijuana use.
You say your uncle and cousin had lung disease. I'd be willing to bet that they were ALSO tobacco smokers. Pot would certainly exacerbate any condition brought on by tobacco use, but in and of itself, would not be the primary cause for lung disease.
A drug can be considered dangerous if it has inherent risks for serious or life threatening side effects, kinda like those fast talked disclaimers that our pharmaceutical ads list for already FDA approved drugs. (May cause a sudden drop in BP, anal leakage has been reported in some cases..........Hmmmm sound great! Gimme some of THAT!!
