Well..since most people say you need at least 3000 lumens per sqft., that light would be sufficient for about a week at most...at MOST. Just get more right away, you don't want to stretch and you definitely don't want to stress it. This is my opinion, someone else may say something different but I doubt it.

figure on about 50-75w per plant or around 2-3000 lumens per square foot during vegging use a cool' white, during flowering switch to 'warm' white

More than watts, and on par with lumens, you need to make sure that your light spectrum (k scale) is appropriate for which stage of growth your in. 6500k for vegging (aka full spectrum, daylight, cool white), and 4500k for flowering. Many people recommend using both spectrums.

WELL FIRST OFF is it an 100w equivilent...???? if so it will not be near suficient, if it is a true 100w then its should be good for vegg 1 plant it will do good

Yeah that will not do at all. I have those in my house lamps, I think they really only use 17w. You can go online, or to speacialty light stores and buy true 55w full spectrum cfls, that aren't too expensive.
