Buy carbon filter defo it will help the smell and better air circulation btw it looks like nutes are burning your plant see them yellow curled leaf tips defo nutes if not the excess of heat

But seriously, if you're in Hydro, and you don't have a pH pen, buy one. You can live without a PPM meter, but you need to know your pH. Also, a door and a REAL extraction fan, like a centrifugal inline fan, will help keep things cool in Flower when you have to enclose that space completely.

With DWC I have seen huge ppm jumps. 3 plants sucking off 1 tub, the swings will be faster. If larger res, I would say it is not as important.

Carbon Filter and Fan if you don't have... i just dropped about 180 on a powerful fan that is quieter than a fan with half the power. 20 for ducting. and about 100 for the carbon filter.
You could probably get a package deal for like 150 bucks but it might be a loud fan.
