Is 10,000 the lumens or the kelvin number? If it is lumens, then of course 10 is more than 5, all other things being equal. If it is kelvin, then whoooohooo what a fucking bright sunning day. Check out a kelvin scale and see where 10,000 is at.
its K scale...take a look at the spectrum graphs I attached....
5000k is closer to the recommended kelvin temp for cannabis growing and most other hydroponics growing. I think 10 000 is suited more to the color temp required for marine plants.so can anyone tell me if the 10000k would be better the then 5000k?
Oh thanks, tease usi actually saw a chart posted by someone which showed the color temperature where light absorbtion by the plant was at it's peak, but i can't find that same chart now.. damn.
Sigh/
the old man gottz to get it out and post it.
Everybody get your copy
Enjoy
Do you mean how in veg plants like 6500k and flowering 2500k?Thanks Granddaddy! that pic was very helpful. However, I came across a chart which showed the plants ability/efficiency of absorbing light at different color temperatures. Anyone can help me wit this?
Thanks in advance!
