1000w, 4x4x7 stealth tent

I have found a good deal on a 4x4x7 grow tent. It comes with 25- 2 gallon pots, carbon filter, inline fan, ducting, and 400w mh/hps. It has the option to change the light to a 600w air cooled light for an extra 300. I plan on buying a 1000 w air cooled light for around $300 and using the 400w for my veg room.
I am worried about the 1000w being overkill for a 4x4 tent. Is there anybody out there running around the same setup and could give me an example to check out? And also what would you recommend; 25- 2 gallon pots and 3 weeks veg, or 9- 5 gallon pots and 2-4 months veg?

im runnin 2 600s in my 5x5x7 the temps are fine. a 1000 in a 4x4 is like 62 watts/ sq foot i heard 75 is overkill so that looks good. i personally recomend getting an 8 inch air cooled reflector but only if the tents ducts are big enough. I think that 9 5 gallon pots is a better option i think you can fit 7's in there if you wanted.

Thanks for the info. The tent comes with 4" ducts but I could do some minor fabrication and make the 8" fit I think. And I've seen people go with 7 gallon pots, but what's the average veg time using them and average yield? I just said 5 gallon because I already have bunch laying around, if I could find some 7's for a decent price I'd probably buy them.

depends on the strain i guess. Personally i choose to just veg for 1 month maybe 2 and you can pull like 4 oz off a plant that was 1 month veg and was under a 600 but yield will obviously increase with pot size i use 10 gallon smart pots

Aye bro its not really the size of the pot it is but isnt its about the light if your vegging a month or two and only getting 4oz dry matter sorry. what I recommend is doing a transfer from a 3 gallon to 5 gallon and if you want then seven gallon seedling in a cup to a 3 gallon and you want the routes to build then transfer to a 5 gallon once its a foot and a half to 2 feet then transfer to 5 gallon where it will grow to 3-4 foot if you veg it long enough or if you top you should be producing an easy half pound per plant. fit 8 5 gallons in there for room to grow.
