Been hovering these forums for years and being so rural thought I'd give it a go myself, purchased an Enkeeo full spectrum 1000w light, tent etc and some 11.5l air pots. Any tips or advice on the best growing medium, nutes I should be using, light cycle etc? Seen a few people say 24/0 others 18/6. Tents 120x120x200, worried my light may be too strong?

It is like 185w true on you 12ft so you have around 15w per ft quite low IMo
Edit: I counted it like a pro... its 16ft so you have something around 10w
Sorry

Stick with a 18/6 veg schedule IMO.
that light is only pulling 120 watts. So definitely not too much. You could run two in that Tent

as far and nutes. What medium are you growing in ?

You can start 18/6 to help them with rooting little bit at the beggining for few weeks and than go 24/0 or not. You need to keep your temps high, follow the distance in manual (do not burn them) and check them for Ca deficiency (under this light it not clearly visible). You can grow some nice weed with it but it wont probably be breathtaking. Good luck!

Think I may look at a better light then, I was thinking coco but still not convinced after reading other people suggestions? Any advice?

you want to go with led you need to spend the money. On the cheaper side a 600 or 1000watt hps would work very well.

I haven’t grown in coco. I used Promix a lot and it worked great. But the last few years I have been doing Hempy buckets with 100% perlite. They are simple and easy and grow some great plants.

Firstly, welcome to growing where good bonafide info is so diluted with bullshit it gets very tedious so research well and don't fall for anything 'Advanced' , a 1000w equivalent replacement sales mantra is so misleading it should actually be a crime as it is really misrepresentation as 100w LED subpar cheap diods won't and can't replace a 1Kw HPS.

For a guidance I use a 90W UFO on seedlings and you want to harvest on 100w, for 120X120 you need at least 400w real draw

I agree.
I veg with 100 watt led cob.
my 3x3 has almost 1000watts of cobs. It is dimmed down a lot lol.

40watts/sqft is a good goal for led.
