any digital meter will work. look to spend $40-100 though. do a search of ph meters on RIU. the top 2 manafacturers are hanna, and oakton IMO but are easily $80+. if you have the money i would get a PH,EC combo meter $130+. ull get a better deal online prob though. you can get a decent ph pen on ebay for $25 shipped. but remember you get what u pay for. if you have the funds i would get a nice 1 now. since youll end up getting one(or should) in the future.

Just got done flushing thoroughly. Will get some updated pictures tonight. Hoping the leaf curl will start to go away! Other than that the plants look great. I hope this setback/over fertilization didn't harm my roots or at least I hope it doesn't stunt the plants too much :( Still looking for some more comments. When can I start taking clones? Does it help to have a healthy plant? Should I wait for them to go out of shock? Also how does my room look? I've been keeping temps down and I removed my ebb and flow tables. The pots are on the ground under plastic, but when I water them I occasionally get runoff that could potentially run into my AC, which is no bueno. What is a good way to prevent runoff when watering with the plants on the ground?

Cinderella dont go too crazy with flushing until you get that ph meter.. if i were you i would go to your local pet store and get a ph strip kit for like $15 until you get your meter. Because your flushing ure plants with an unknown ph # from your tap water or whatever water source your using. also you still dont know the ph of your run off so you dont kno if you need to be going up or down in PH..also with your meter on the way i would get some PH UP and PH DOWN from your local grow shop asap. get some pot saucers(any local hardware/garden store) to keep runoff from making a mess. but Y wouldnt you just put ure pots on the ebb n flow table??? when ure finally ready for hydro its as simple as a flood and clean to get the dirt/crap off and ready for hydro.

also you still didnt say what kind of method of cloning your planning to use. either way you need to get ure ph issue under control before you think about propagation/cloning.

PS venture away from this site and visit some other horticulture/gardening sites even one that are not cannibis specific...trust me you will learn alot about basic botany on websites about vegetable growing,etc........... and read and then read some more.

here are some good places to start.

Could anyone recommend me a good setup for my nutrients? A lot of them I have acquired from friends and such and I dont have a specific feeding chart/schedule. Lately Ive been giving them the fox farms usually as a foliar spray and Hygrozyme. Any help is much appreciated! REP + One Love!

Just go with the basic genhydro 3part. Cheap, simple, easy to use. Don't go above 1/2 strength and you'll be fine. You can use them through the whole cycle. The feeding schedule is right on the bottle.
They're big enough to cut clones now. Most of em anyway. Simple rooting hormone powder is at Lowes. About 4 bucks. Lasts forever.

Some new pics! Can you see any growth? Also any suggestions for condensing my room down and utilizing my light better? I was thinking about moving the plants to the corner of the room and building a wall around them to help with light penetration through the lower trophic levels.. Also want to add an outside source of air.. I want to make sure I get these big room issues taken care of before these babies start to fill out :) Comments +REP Please!!!! One!~
