1000w MH buld explodes...AGAIN!!

Bulb I meant........what the fuckin fuck fuck fuck me!!!...I have a nice new sunleaves brand 1000w hood with new ballest( 1 1/2 years old...everything)...and this is the second time a top brand Hortilux bulb has exploded!...fuck me...the room is only 81 degrees, the bulb is fully protected by the hood and glass cover...
last time I didn't have the cover on and the little pieces of hot glass almost burned my house down....even caught my flood table on fire!...the glass kept it all in ths time , but I'm pissed! fuckin $120 dollar bulb that only 3 months old!!...Hortilux too, unbelievable:wall::?::?::?::?::wall::wall::?::?::?::?::?::wall::wall::wall::wall::?::?:

...I just checked my book, last time is was HPS bulb, this was MH...not that it makes a fuckin diff. I'm still confusued...the ballaset isn't even that hot...everthing is hooked up right, I haven't change much around but a few fans....but that bulb fuckin exploded into a million pieces...idk...2 times in less than 6 months is scary shit

not enough power is being drawn, ur voltage exceeds ur amperage drawn and it cuts off power to ur bulb causing it to break. either that or your fan isnt cooling it enough and its overheating and exploding. what kind of ballast you got?

that room goes down to about 70 at night, but right now it's in 24 hours veg...so the room stays at about 82-85...it's been on 24 hours for months now...the temp stays good

It could be a power issue or the bulb could be dirty. Oil from your hands and fingers can cause weak spots and bulbs to break it's best to wipe down the bulb after it's in place if you don't already do that

Can your ballast run both types of bulbs?

P 420 is right...if you left a fingerprint on the bulb, that spot will superheat until it explodes.
