1000W Tent Grow, Mystery Seeds/God's Gift, Medical Legal Grow

What's happenin' guys? I got this grow started in early March but school was so hectic the last couple months i never was able to get a thread going.Anyway, i wanted to make a few posts and help get you guys get caught up...and yes, while i realize right now saying 'you guys' actually means no one yet haha, i'm hoping some of you that read this and perhaps subscribe and offer any helpful feedback or interesting subjects for discussion. Anyways, this is a completely legal, personal grow in conformance with my state's caregiver laws; i am my own and one other's care giver, however, i do not have the full 12 plants that i am allowed due to space and it being my first grow under major wattage. I am now two weeks into flower on the 4 largest ladies, and probably 1 week from chopping the XXX or "God's Gift". So here's the set up:
*Grow Tent--> 6'4"x6'4"x6'4"
* 1 XXX aka God's Gift almost done flowering-->had rough first half of it's life under flouros and had nitrogen deff.
* 3 mystery seeds, possibly Green Crack or more God's Gift, but none of the three look the same.-> 2 weeks into flower
* 1 Mystery Clone, Sativa Dominant--> 2 weeks into flower
* 1 XXX clone, vegging prob. one more week
* 1 SFV ChemDawg, vegging prob. one more week
* 1000w HPS, air cooled hood
* Humidifier--> humidity ranges between 30-60% and temps from 70-85 F
* 1/2 Fox Farm Ocean Forest 1/2 Happy Frog Mix, then added perlite.
* 1 7G Smart Pot, 3 5G smart Pots, 1 5G Bucket w/ holes, and SFV in a normal flower pot
* Nutrients: SuperThrive, Botanicare Cal-Mag, Botanicare Pure Blend-Pro Bloom, Black Strap Molasses, Fox Farm Big Bloom, and Humboldt's Bushmaster on two of the tallest to inhibit stretching.

*So i've heard the mystery seed no-no rule, but i was confident it came from good bud i had in the past and now i could not be happier i used them. Had 4 seedlings, 1 was male or hermi so i tossed it, the other three are good. Also, this is my first grow graduating from CFL's to HPS, and man, i absolutely love it! well im gonna get some pics posted to get ya caught up, hope to hear from anyone!

So, these are the babies at 5 weeks into vegging under an 18/4 cycle. These pictures are very old and for awhile the male i chopped was indistinguishable from the females so it's mixed somewhere in these pictures and i am unsure which one it is. As for the mystery seed plants, we have named them Big Bertha, Shawty, and Sassy. The large Sativa dominant clone is named Bertha. The plant in flower is about 4 weeks in at this point and that is the XXX. As for techniques, i use my nutrients at about 60% dosage, and water from mostly the bottom only, which the smart pots i use work very well for; every third or fourth watering i'll pour maybe half a pitcher for top watering. Early in their lives i did some FIMing and mild LST, then they all began to bush out with little extra maintenance. So, these photos will be of (& listed on photo name):

So here is a video taken a little over a week ago. as the title implies, the XXX is at day 51 flowering and is gettin some purple. The 4 large mystery plants are 6 days flowering in the video. Back left corner is Bertha. Back right corner by humidifier is Big Bertha, Front right is Shawty, and front left is Sassy. the two smaller plants on the far left are two weeks into vegging and one is a XXX clone and the other is the SFV ChemDawg seedling. I will let those two vegg about another week and then let them stay in the tent to flower with the others. .......Shit nevermind, anyone know how to post a video? doesn't seem to like it when i try...

Alright guys, this should get everyone caught up. Sorry i couldn't figure out the video, i'm still workin' on that. So, just for some info, XXX is in a 5g air pot. Big bertha, Bertha, Shawty, and the XXX clone are in the smart pots. And Sassy is in the 5g bucket w/ holes. still watering from the bottom, works amazingly for me, temps are staying consistent and they are all startin' to throw their beautiful hairs! Big bertha and Sassy started stretching like crazy when i flipped the switch so i watered them with a low dosage of Humboldt's Bushmaster and it seems to have done the trick, they have stopped at right around 4 1/2 - 5 feet. Bertha is shorter at about 4 feet even though she's more sativa. and Shawty got her name, well, because she is shorter than her cousins at about 3 1/2 feet. All of the plants are in the same position i mentioned they would be in the video that i couldn't get loaded. These pictures were taken today, so like i said, this brings everyone up to speed. I would appreciate any comments, advice, or constructive criticism...i do not claim to be a pro by any means! ha

only thing i see is its like the same tent i have for my veg..... arent you gonna run out of space? lol or do you keep them rather small? i had to this last time cus i was moving but i veg my 12 in the same tent till they wont fit anymore now and i throw em in my basement under hps and mh both. i have made a room with construction plastic and lined it with mylar and it stays much cooler down there for flowering under the big hot lights. i have 4.. 4', 6 bulb t8s in the tent thats veggin the ladies.... there 80 buck each but great lights with yo yo hangers they are sooo easy to handle adjusting them too.... low wattage... i got phillips 5000k bulbs in them i think 32 watts per bulb. and for clones and seedlings walmart has these 2' floro grow lights and there 10$ so i got three and stuck em to a piece of nice plywood and hung it from a yo yo hanger.... there 7800k bulbs nad they are great for my clones. i have roots showing in a clear party cup at 9 days most times... and they are only 17 watts each. good luck with your grow man looks like you got your own thing and are doing it well. i also am a legal patient and a caregiver for one. well a friend and i are legal and growing together.... but im his caregiver cus its all in my room. lol

So she kept developing some of that beautiful purple over the last week or so as you can see...curing in the jar right now, looks to be around 2.5 oz dry. This God's Gift definitely lives up to it's parents OG Kush and Grand Daddy Purps.

Dope set up! Very similar to mine, but I'm rockin a 4x4 w a 600. Plants look great! Going to get packed in there! I am thinking about using smart pots for my next grow. Supossed to help w roots and aeration n whatnot right? Also, do you have a carbon filter or anything for odor? Going to be smelling delicious up in there in a couple weeks. - sub'd. Good luck!

hey thanks, yeah the smart pots help with aeration most definitely and make the plant go through a "light pruning" process...supposedly this means when the large roots reach the edges the light hits them and stops growth, encouraging more new and smaller roots to grow for maximum nutrient and water intake as opposed to those big roots reaching the edges and just starting to wrap around....and as for the carbon filter, that's a big no haha...its in a garage though so the smell shouldn't be unmanageable, besides, its legal haha
