Looks fine so far..

You should have drainage holes in the bottoms of those cups though.. Also I would put some plastic wrap over the tops of the cups to keep the humidity in.. Just poke some holes in the plastic wrap so they can breath a lil..

Another thing is you should get a thermometer/hygrometer to measure temps/humidity at plant level.

You've got a decent start.. But a good grow takes A LOT of research and planning. Just keep that in mind.

Good Luck, Happy Growing, Peace

I'd go 18/6. You're using the right kelvin temp lights so that is good; I'm guessing these are 26W CFL's (100w equiv)?

I ALWAYS use 24/0 for starting seeds, they will grow faster and have a higher chance of survival, from my experience.
Good luck!

im at the same stage as u 2 mines popped up even more nowo on its 2nd day and i have it under 20/4.
this reason being is because, alot of people say 24/0 hours and sum people say 20/4,18/6 i basically thought to myself "24 hours that could stress my plant and it dosent need that much light, and 18/6 is what im gonna use when its about 2-3 inches tall" so 20/4 is my answer.
also the fact im doing it and my plant is fine

i dont think it would stress out the plant if you do 24/0 for one or two days then switch to 18/6 , cause i have mine on 24/0 and this will be my second day .. and they already poppin up

nice nice well im on my 3rd day and there doing ok under 2 14w 2700k bulbs,im gonna veg for another week then start 12/12.
i am doing it this early because you can still produce desent buds if u 12/12 from seed or from short veg.
also this way u can get 4 harvests every year and if u choose sativa strains which is what eveery1 uses they grow monster because they naturally grow closer to the equater with 14 hours of daylight max. check out this thread for more information.

of course you can go 24 hours in veg. I always have my veg light on 24/7 always. Ususally I use a 400 MH tho. This is my first time using cfls. and Josh, you should be using cfls in the 6500k range for veg. Im using a 125 watt 6500k cfl to veg in a small tent. I think it equals like 500 watts or something...

Hey man i wanted to tell you its a proven fact that they grow 33% faster and a hell of alot of foliage i would defently recomend 24 hrs of light atleast for the first 4 weeks im in week 7 of veging and still have them in 24 /7 they are eating it up the first 4weeks i had just 6500k cfls 8 42 watters then i moved up to half and half with 9 6500k and 8 2700k i have a set with mid level with the plant and and the other half 4 to 5 inches from the tops i would definetly leave them in veg for atleast 6 to 8 weeks depending on the size of space you have the only time they ever need dark is to flower you put them on 20/4 or 18/6 that leaves time for them to stretch out as i dont like mine to stretch i like them to branch with small internodes very compact i do top and cut the slow low growth off the bottoms at week 4 and 8 then set in flowering in week 9 as having them in light so much the smallest amount of darkenest will absouletly set them off keep me posted on your plants man as i would gladly give good advice hope i was of help
