So if heat, humidity, and odor aren't a problem you have part of the battle won.
OK, ...how will you handle the lighting cycle? (you'll need an inexpensive timer) Are you growing organic? (I don't encourage MiracleGro) You'll also need an inexpensive fan for plant movement. When you throw the discussion open you'll get questions piece meal.

Right now I am doing a 18-6 light cycle goin on my 12th day of growth.
Question: what exactly do I need to setup a Y splitter above my plants? I googled it but can't find an answer. Tommoro I'll be going to my local hardware store for a Y splitter. Is the back piece called an adapter? I want to hang my cfls above my plant instead of using this wack lamp

You do realize that by the time that your done flowering the plant could be over 3 feet tall + the height of the bucket / pot it's in right? It may not fit on your shelf for the whole duration of it's life..

I have a 15' high ceiling and the shelves are adjustable. So it should be good. I'm trying to grow a small plant .

[h=2]A "Y" socket or double socket is just that. The people at the hardware store should be able to tell what you want. It just screws in and provides two sockets. I am curious..did you start your seed in that pot or in something else? Also, what is the gallon size of that pot?[/h]

@brothernumsi no I started it in one of the extra small red Dixie cups. Now it's in that its probably 2 gallons or so I'm trying to grow a small personal so hopefully it works in that small pot

How big do you want your plant to get? I would guess most people would say the plant will become rootbound in a 2g container. Keep your eye on it as it grows.

It's crazy the ammount of roots generated by a cannabis plant... I had my seedlings in a 2L bottle cut in half and flipped upside down for drainage. In 2 weeks I noticed that the roots were dangling out of the opening at the bottom. I transplanted to a 4L pot and in 5 days they were a tightly wound mass of roots and soil. IMO I wouldn't use anything less than a 3 gallon bucket / pot or what ever. Even then you may run into problems.. my 3g seems to be doing well but it's only 37 days old...

I understand...5g or 7g here. Their roots grow like crazy, you are correct.
