im using 5 cfls. 3 of them are 30 watts putting out 2050 lumens each. and 2 of them are self ballasted 25 watts. and they are putting out 1850 lumens each.

and im using mircle grow potting mix soil. no nutes or nothing. this was just an experiment but im actually going to be successsfull....

About using CFL's...The lights your using for your setup right now...Did you pay attention to what Type of CFL they were...There is Cool White, Soft White, and Warm White, For Growth you want COOL WHITE...They are also called Daylgiht Blubs on the packages. For Flowering you want the Warn White. The Cool White is the Blue End of the Light Spectrum it puts out around 6500 Kelvin and the Warm whites put out about 2500 Kelvin and its on the Red end of the spectrum. So basically your next time around on a grow try that and you'll get better results...Daylight for the Grow period and Warm Whites for the flower period.

I Got Super Warm White. All 4 Of My Bulbs Were Switched From Veggg To My Flowering Bulbs.i Should Have Made A List Of Stuff In The Beginning And Shit. Well My Next Grow Im Getting This Hps Going. 400 Wattts Hopefully Ill Get Better Results With That

yea man, also next grow when you get an hps, get some 46w DAYLIGHT cfls, it produces white light, which is perfect for vegging, and u should focus more on side lighting not just top lighting youll get more leaves branches which = more bud sites, and trop to top your plants or lst them lst is tying the branch down, so the inner leaves grow out, and theres huge branches everywhere which increases yield, and topping is cutting off very top of plant, the stem part, and you get 2 main top branches but lucky me ended up with 4

naw i aint. i wish i was. but this female is allready doing her thing. i think like 25 days into flowering. but im flowering this baby with her. so i should have some bud witin like 2 months and then some more a month later. so im happy. and ya east los i used to live in venice beach and gardena torrence area. 90717 haha. ima go check out your thread in a few.
