11 week bud question

Has anyone ever trimmed some of the leaves from around the bud to let more light in late in the grow? If so what was the outcome?

This plant is about to be in its 11 week of flowering with about 10% amber trichomes.

nice... i don't think there is a lot you can do to help your plant at week 11.. but there is some shit you could do to fuck it up..

Dont bother. The plant uses the leaves throughout the entire process from veg to harvest. I had a friend who always stripped his leaves away from his buds thinking that more light to the buds = bigger and better buds; he was wrong. He could never understand why his plants would be burned and never have good quality or quantity. In a natural environment the plant will shed the leaves which it doesnt need; let the plant make those decisions. I have seen humungo buds which were totally shaded by leaves.

Sexy looking is right but she has been slow getting there I hope by the end of week 11 she will be ready to roll.

May aswell leave it now, you could cut it and, it will grow balls to piss you off
