118x280x150(h)cm / 3.8x9.1x4.9(h)ft room LED choice

Hi everyone,
I want to buy LED lights for this size room. Have been looking on Apollo or Mars lights, how much wats would you recomend? Should I go, for example 3 x panels 200w or two larger etc.?
I have heard that claimed wattage is not the wattage that LED panel consumes, am I right?
Previously used 400w HPS/MH in a smaller room, now I would like to save on electrical bills.
Budget on lights ~ 1000 USD or more if there is a really good deal/choice.

Many LED's especially the Chinese brands claim higher watts then they actually are. Check how much they draw it gives you a slightly better figure. You also have quite a big grow space and I doubt your going to get anything cheap off the shelf where only 2 lights will suffice, I think your going to need 3 panels at least

Ok, 3 panels it is, what about power? Apollo 3 x 200w panels would fit? So, for example, I found MARS II 300 model, they claim, that there are 60 x 5w leds and power consumption is around 110w, could this be truth?

Or they lie about 60x5w (300w)?

Most of the commercial small diode panels aren't really more efficient than HPS. COB LEDs when run at lower power levels provide significant efficiency improvements over HPS or most of the commercial panels. Lots of great info in the LED subforum.
