Shit overnight mold. I checked em yesterday, and they looked good. Today they were droopin, I took a look at the roots and they are moldy! WTF! Do I use H202? The sick plant guide says to use it and then it says never to use it in hydro! Shite.......

Strange thing. I've been doing research and all of these people say that "white fuzzy" growth on the roots is good. So I'm thinking maybe it's not mold? I'm gonna take some pics.

yeah man, use some H202, not really sure on the amount, but that should kill the mold, makes sense as to why they were droopy.
you do have the AG pump turned off right?

Yeah that's what's throwin me off. In the guide it says that lack of oxygen causes this but I turn off my pump and add the air curtain and i get mold? I'm not SURE it's mold, the fact that I added O2 and this happened makes me think MAYBE the roots are blowin up. I can't get a good pic but here's a pic from some guy that said his aeroponics caused his roots to blow up and get fuzzy: http://www.icmag.com/gallery/data/500/3957hydroton0.jpg

Also even with my pump off my sponges are still real wet. Any suggestions?

well pics would definitely help, but it should be easy to tell mold from roots tho lol

I'm gonna go buy some peroxide in a bit and then we'll see I guess.:wall:

K, I sprayed the roots and sponges with a H2O2 solution and cleaned the rez and tubing real well. Fresh water with about 1/8 nutes. Gonna clean rez and change water every two days until things look right. Oh also added H2O2 to water at 1 tbsp per gallon.

OK,

Mold seems to be gone for now. Bad news? Healthiest looking plant now has massive necrosis all up and down one side, and most plants have some dying leaves. Good news? That healthy looking plant is almost certainly a male!:clap: He's got what looks like little nutsacks goin so screw him. My camera sucks so I cant get a non-blurry close up, but I'll wait a few days before I chop him. The one I called stunty before looks like she's gonna be my first girl. If so Ima name her Alita. Roots are still white and I'm gonna change the water tomorrow and add H2O2 and some nutes. and now PICS!

3 part, General Hydroponics Flora Series, with GH Liquid Kool Bloom, and dry form for the last weeks of flower, with Botanicare Sweet Grape, and Hydroplex. I also got some Bio Bizz im going to use, Bio Heaven and Bio Bloom i'll probably throw into the mix

Hey guys, long time no see. Had some hectic shit to deal with but I'm back. And so are my babies. I got 4 confirmed girlies and they look fantastic. Most have doubled in size in the last week! I'm doin 1/2 strength AG nutes, with 2 tsp of H2O2, which by the way adds hella O2 to the water. The girls are drinkin the whole rez every other day. No more droopiness no more mold, just boomin growth. Added another40 watt 2700k CFL bringing me to 170w total. Got some burnt leaves b/c I was away overnight and they grew into the lights. I'm concerned about yield b/c the growth was stunted for at least a week maybe 2 or 3, but I'll chalk this up to a learning curve. :wink:
In terms of nutes, could I just use florabloom or koolbloom with the AG nutes? I'd like to give an extra boost, but I'd rather not buy the whole line right now if I don't have to.

yeah the Kool Bloom or Flora Bloom along with the AG tabs will be fine, that should help with the buds, i would worry about the light burn, im sure they will be fine, keep up the good work

Hey! Everything's going pretty good, not much change since last post except that they've continued to grow at a crazy rate. Removed the AG lamp today and am using it for side lighting and on top I've got 3 26w CFLs and once on the other side for side light. Still using AG nutes at half strength, you think I can kick it up again? My phone camera aint doin the trick so I'm gonna buy a new one. Can't do any decent close up pics. Oh, and they're drinking water REALLY FAST. Enjoy, any comments, questions, or advice are totally welcome!:blsmoke::weed:

Side note: The one I used to call "stunty" is my second biggest one now. It's the one mid right in the back row. Just goes to show............

Oh yeah another thing. Should I be trimming stuff from the lower third of the plant? I've been reading that it helps with flower growth.

Thanks, next time I'll hit you with a root pic. They've blown UP! I think that's in part to the H2O2. Mucho mas O2 FTW.:clap:
