should i bring my plant inside and start the 12/12 cyle to start flowering?

that would depend what are your expectations. If you are looking for personal smoke then by all means then change the photoperiod to a 12/12. You can start flowering if the height of the vegetative plant exceeds 6 to 12 inches which of course could be debated depending on the genetics of the plant. What sort of lighting are you planning to use if you chose to switch it to a 12/12 photoperiod?
