Week 10 has completed, and chopping is commencing.
Yesterday, I took down the Blue Mystic. This plant had a single cola and 2 pairs of side branches with a single bud on each. It took a bit to trim, as there were pointy budlets within the bud; This is a great candidate for future 12/12 from seed, for a modest yield in a small pot. Worth noting is once the flush began, is manifested cal/mag defiencies in the leaves within 2 or 3 days.
This morning, I took down the Zombie Kush. the Zombie Kush is absolutely the frostiest plant I have grown. It tried to be big, and had about 5 sets of side branches, all with dense buds. It was also a breeze to wet trim, aside from cleaning the clippers often, and leaving fingers feeling like glue. I will be growing this strain again, although in a bigger format with some basic training and topping. Did I mention how dense the buds are?
I just finished taking down the squat Querkle. It had about 4 pairs of side branches, each with one or two buds on each. The standout trait is that the ripened bud has a mix of purple and green calyx's. The upper leaves faded to a nice dark purple as well. The overall color looks purple/pinkish/green. My fingers feel equally greasy and sticky after (wet) trimming. Interesting. I can't wait to try this.
I took some quick picks before the takedown, and will post in a bit.
Up next: The large-ish Girl Scout Cookies; the tall sativa Jack the Ripper; the Bubba Kush; and the squat indica looking Green Crack.
