And could you recommend a strain for each

Most seed growers advise a continuous 20/4 light schedule for AF's. That being said, I have had good luck by growing AF's on a regular non-AF schedule.
I just finished a grow with 6 AF's and 6 regular plants. I lit them at 20/4 for the first 5 weeks in dirt then switched the light to 12/12 for 5-6 weeks of flowering.
The yield from the AF's was the same as when I grew them on a complete 20/4 light schedule. So, my experience suggests that the light schedule for AF's doesn't
make much difference.

I would go with a good strain 12/12 from seed cause autos just dont put out anything good enough to grow i mean if you hjave xtra room in your set up go for it but dont expect much from a auto

Strainwise -- "Easy Ryder" strain from Lowryder Seeds (via Attitude) is the best AF I've grown. Let it flower for 5 weeks and get an energized buzz, let it go another week
and you are getting into couchlock territory. With quality and quantity to consider the best regular strains for me include G13 Labs "Gigabud" feminized, Green House Seeds'

Thanks Steve I have grown 20+ easy ryders and they are my favourite autoflower by far .... Iv done the Tutankhamon also ...... Im thinking orange bud to go 12/12 from seed iv just found a 12/12 from seed thread and the thread starter was pulling 2 zips+ from them
