I use it in a 4x4 tent. 3000k. I haven’t grown indoors in like 15 years or so give or take and last time I did it was with hps. I’m new to LED and have a little HLG100 4000k I’ll eventually use for clones/starting before getting them into the tent. I’m in the process of getting setup in my new house so I don’t have my fan or anything set up. It’s still all in boxes, I’ll get around to it in another couple months once stuff starts getting bigger and I want the scrubber. But my heat in the tent hovers around 70 and that’s with my basement set at 62. One time when I closed the bedroom door it got to 78...
hell about 2 weeks ago my ac went out, and I fell asleep well the curtain also closed on its own, when I woke up the dam room was at 100, maybe more bc I don't think my thermometer reads over 100! it wasnt for long maybe and hour or 2, never seen any negative effects luckily I caught it soon! I almost had a heart attack! crazy thing it was like 30° outside!!! imagine if it was summer time! at that exact moment I settled and spending 100% of my Harvest if I have too, to get the 600! I know if this was to happen with them, at worst I may be looking at 80 or 85° which could go for days without killing my girls! goal is to run them year round, and if temps drop too low, I'll plug in the hps running in between them!

plus sadly I can't even run the other half of my 4x8 just bc of heat and power! even with a 12k btu ac, it just can't keep up with 2 1k hps!

I went from growerslights and did get the knob and had them prebuild and test it. No I don’t have any journals as I’ve never had a reason to take pictures or log anything as I’m not in a legal state and I’m just getting back into indoor growing so I can’t help ya out in that department.

My air conditioner is set at 74 degrees year round, I only run my lights at night and I get consistent temps year round with little to no worries.
Is that your controller for an AC Infinity?

I’m in Minnesota, so heat isn’t an issue for me in winter. My basement is partially underground, so I’m doubtful it will be problematic in summer.

yea for me I never like to hit 81 unless in veg, especially towards to end of flower! perfect temp for me is at 77, with about 50% rh, and then the last few weeks I try to drop down to 75 and 40%, and for that final push I'll go as low and I can! but never less that about 70ish, 30% max for being the low side! I've found this really seems to boost the tric production! and I like the results alot!

guys really cool new comp starting march 15! almost zero rules compared to any other comp I've seen! and we can all easily run it, with our normal growing routines! just go read before u say no!

  • any beans or cuts
  • any medium or hydro w.e.
  • 18 weeks total grow
  • just about any dam thing!

the rules are so lose, it's like throwing a hot dog down a hallway! only thing some ppl have an issue with is the way the votes are hidden until the end, but I don't see any flaws in that, other a lot of work for the guy running it! pop in you guys should be fun!

I find running LED's in the lower 80's do just as well in production as compared to running HPS in the mid to lower 70's

Edit- Also My RH is 50 -60% year round here, That might help a little

I coincidentally received a separate lot of the Mystery Meat seeds before the competition started and so I popped a couple just out of curiosity leading up to us kicking this thing off... here is a pic of those small plants, today... one looks like a cute little indica...
