Hello everyone. Ok I plan using a few bagseed 12/12 from seed. I will be using 1 gallon pots with ocean forest soil. I will be growing inside a 24x24x55 tent. I will be using a 150 watt hps. So would this size light work for 12/12 from seed? And with this size tent, how many plants should someone try to grow? So after all the details, would this setup work?

I would get 8 going if you have enough. When they get some size to them pick the best 4 to finish. Cross your fingers in hopes you get all females... You will probably get a male or two... Just hope they don't all turn out to be males.

I wouldn't push for more than 4 gallon sized pots in a space that size.

Good luck

ok thank you for the reply. I had someone tell me I could get 9 in there. LOL. When would someone start feeding plants 12/12 from seed. Do you use veg nutes at all or just start with bloom nutes?

Bag seed? 50/50 split on m/f. Yes it would work. You can run as many as the light footprint covers. Sprout more than you need and giver guns.

Hell yeah. I think your idea is perfect even with 1 gallon pot. This is my style. Fast. I like 3 gal better but, going to 2 next. Only prob I see with 1 us you may have to water more often later in the cycle. There's a dude on here who does it with pop bottles and has fantastic results. I might also suggest hempy bucket and Lucas formula to make it simple and care free. Hell yeah bro. Love ur idea.

Oh yeah. Tie it down so you can spread the light even. If not it might stretch on u. Best to do it right at the start. Else it could get away from u. Depends on genes. But hell yeah. Do it.

Thank you for your reply. So lucas formula would not be too strong for 12/12 from seed plants? Or would you start feed at 5/10 for the veg part. Then go to 8/16 for bloom?

I don't do bag seed. I usually just feed a little water every day as a seedling until roots are established. I start Lucas maybe 2 to 4 weeks in. I just go by instinct and what feels right. It works bro.

Edit. To clarify, as a seedling I pour several ml of plain tap water at the stem and root while roots are being established. There is no science to it, it just makes me feel secure knowing they won't dry out before roots hit the reservoir at the bottom of the hempy bucket. I also go straight to the final pit at a week or so.
