What are the chances that its not spidet mites? I would think that it would be slower. The problem I have is that there was literally nothing wrong and then the next morning alot of the lower leaves had fallen off or have holes in them. I have a few seedlings and one of the big leaves on it was chewed off. And all of the lower leaves on all of the seedlings have a hole in them. I would think if it was spider mites the problem would have developed slowly. Unless im incorrect.
do you have cats?

UPDATE. Week 10 of flowering, almost all of the fan leaves died, i only had to pull lightly for them to fall off. Buds look good, the top cola looks like shit though, its all brown, the buds in the middle are the biggest and healthiest. I now have 168 watts of 2700k cfl (4 42 watt blubs with a total output of 10600 lumens) and 18 watts of 7500k cfl (total of 1160 lumens), im gonna add another 23 watt 2700k bulb soon. I also have 5 cannabis plants, 3 weeks old and 2 of them are topped. I am transplanting the topped plants outside, and the plant in the gatorade bottle outside, im keeping the other two, which will be topped soon also. I have included a picture of my small ghetto grow box lol. I will be growing in my closet once i clean it out. Thanks

Oh that poor baby
Its my first grow. My next grow will be much much better. If they turn out to be female i am going to try to get 5 oz or more in total off of the two plants i keep, .5 gpw doesnt seem very difficult if i grow it ok. Because they will also be under like 300 watts of cfl maybe more. Or i might just get a few hid lights when i start growing in my closet.

If you're on week ten you may be better off chopping that poor thing down and trying again. It's heat stressed and looks like it's in hot soil in regards to nutrients.
Its not really unheard of for plants to go 14 weeks sometimes even more. Id rather just wait because even though its on its 10th week of flowering it didnt show its sex for over 2 weeks and i only had like 30 watts of 7500k for the first 4 weeks of flowering, then for the next 2 weeks i only had a 12 watt cfl. So in reality the plant has truly been flowering for like 5 weeks or less with a suitable light source.

Yea i grow lots of landraces that hit 24-26 weeks.
But theyve been stunted terribly, dont chop imo but learn from this or your next harvest may not be any better. Practice doesnt make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect..
Also your likely to get more like high 2's low 3"s (oz's)

You have a long way to go

Lmao what landraces do you have that go that long? Even the Thais usually max out at 18 - 20.

I say chop because of the shape it's in, you're not going to get much of anything worth smoking. I'm not trying to be mean, I just don't think you're going to be satisfied with it. Plus it's taking up space that you could have another plant in, that will actually yield a decent amount. And fyi, most long flowering strains aren't going to yield shit grown in a small environment with anything less than hids. An indica would be better suited for your situation imo .

If i get a quarter i will be satisfied. A half would be better but a quarter would be fine. Its been growing so long and im not just gonna quit when the plant is only like a month away from finishing. If it starts completely dying then i will chop it but not till then. The buds have been growing much faster the last couple weeks even if its not noticeable. I will update in another week along with the smaller cannabis plants. I put too much effort into this plant to kill it before its even done flowering.

I only grew landrace central/south american strains for many years..
Have some columbians that go 26-27. But there are some that grow along the ground like vines and propogate themselves.. i was on some islands off mexico and saw a whole field of the same strain all in various stages of flowering naturally... said it had been in the family for generations. Pretty cool plant we have.

Ive never grown other sativas, but have heard thai is what caused the differences in jamaican landraces, i have a few that flower 19-20 so seems plausible
