i have tied it down to try lst it, is this the right thing to do or will it not work?
im doing this because im suffering with a size issue.
they are 3 days into flowering will this matter ?
comments and advice neeeded peace.

lst looks good, re adjust it every few days. it will adjust and start to grow up more every day. stay on top of it for a week and it will pay off in the long run

Use distilled or PH balanced water. An MJ plant is happier being on the dry side versus staying of the damp/wet side. Also that soil looks to have very little or no perlite in it. MJ likes quick draining soil so that the roots can get oxygen. In my experience, dope plants like to get nice and wet, dry out fast, and then get wet again. Kind of like being in a jungle or tropical reigon where it's hot then rainy, hot then rainy.
I'm no expert though. I'm just sharing what I've learned and what works for me.

its true, if oyu can buy a bag or perlite at walmart. its cheap. or any garening place will have it or any home depot type of place. pot plants need to breath in the soil

how does perlite benifit the plant ?
and my short ryder is 5 weeks old a mo flowering and auto flower ive now set to 12/12 just to see if there is any sign of flowering in the next week.

short ryder 5 week 3 days old and still no sign of flowering had been in 12/12 for 3 days.
60 day wonder 3 weeks 3 days old nice buds coming on i think.

Your fine. Learn by looking at your plants when they need to be watered, every day is way too often and every other day is too much as well. let them wilt one time and it will show you what they look like when they really need water.im on a low budget. i just want to keep the temp down and keep them green and healthy any tips for keeping it down and just any advice because i am a noooob
Forget about Ph, your in soil and it just is not a problem unless you have really bad tap water.
Relax leave them alone, for the most part they don't want or need your help.

ok i have been watering every three days and dont really see them that much and i dont really care about PH i think there fine. but thanks for advice ill stay away from them lol.

CT is right, Shortryder is meant to stay at 18/6 for the entire grow. Also it is an autoflower so regardless of the light it will follow its normal time frame. You will only lose yeild by reducing the light on shortryder. I know this because I have two of them in veg right now. Hope that helps later.

Your soil looks really dense for an auto, try to use some perlite next time.
Leave the autos on the 18/6, they should pre flower on weeks 3 or 4, then they will begin to flower like crazy a week after.
Autos are very sensitive to fertilizers, so if you do fert them, use very low doses (1/4 strength is very popular strength to use.
Spend some time reading the thread on autos:

sounds good man, with my experience in autos most have showed sex around week 2-3. do as much reading as possible and gain as much knowledge as you can it will pay off in the long run. take in what people are suggesting for ya and after the next grow or 2 you will have it down good.
