Some plp dont want to mess with the heat issues that go along with a 400w system, or have the grow area to justify it...I have both, and use my cfl's for clones and seedlings...
Come on plp lets stop jumping the gun on things and just answer the question's presented before us...We dont even know...He may already have a HPS/MH system, but then again that was not what he wanted to know...

This was more just a heads up on the lights for others really.
We will be getting a HPS for flowering, probably just go with a 250w coz the of the heat and space restrictions, mid summer it gets up around 45c here.
We`ve got a 2.5x1.5x5' wardrobe that we were thinking of using for flowering in. A 250w should do ok in there since we should be able to create a decent airflow through it.
Figured one of these CFLs should be able to veg 4 plants for a while then add the other in after transplanting for a few more weeks and then move to the HPS.
Only looking at growing plants up to max 2' tall, veg to 8-12" or so.
Should get us by till the next harvest plus a 3-4 footer growing outdoors like we`ve been doing already. Hopefully never have to buy buds again.
