i am in 2 weeks of flowering so a total os 6 weeks but this strain takes 9-12 weeks just in flowering .lol
and ive got a new box and cut down on cfls im running
1 x125w 2100k
2 x 85w 2700k
1 x 30w }tube 4000k
1 x 25w }tube 4000k
1 x 25w }tube 6400k

i know people that have done plants with just the 150w hps but im sure more light is better

thanks for all help random jesus you really add a whole lot to the conversation. im glad i was asking everyones opinions on cfls and not something dumb about which cfl is better. i mean come on anyone that knows anything knows cfls are shit....i hope im not laying the sarcasm on too think... why you in the cfl forum ? just to a be a prick with nothing better to do ---- go suck your hps off you fag

its not all about how many lumens or watts u have either - placing 1 125w over a plant isn't going to get any light onto the lower buds. Each bud site effectively needs its own light when using CFLs.

so basically, you're better off having more individual lights and placing them all around the plant otherwise you'll end up with a fat bud on top and SFA down below.

i have used 250 watts of cfls on 4 plants . the buds came out fine . very potent , but fluffy , which i prefer for a personal stash . 2 oz a month , bag seed , mostly indica strain . perpetual harvest .

:peace:I would think the 27 would be great for improved side and bottom lighting, the 125 would definetly be better fo the main light...:blsmoke:

the difference with using a 125w vs a lot of 27w is that the 125w still puts down a useful amount of light at a foot away, pretty much about the same as what a 27w does a few inches away.
no matter how many 27w you use youll never match the output of a 125w.
youll get better coverage with a lot of 27w but you wont get the intensity or penetration of the 125w. with a 27w you only ever get a max of ~1800lm, a 125w puts down that much a foot further away.

id doubt youre getting anywhere near 12000lm from a 125w CFL
CFLS are usually in the range of 60-70lm/w not 95lm/w.

Shut up get your facts first WTF Envirolite 125w Fluorescent Red 2700k 12000 lumens above the plant

Envirolites do not generate excessive heat and can be used directly above the plants (3-4cm).
-Self ballasted lamps are simple to install.
-Uses a standard E40 socket.
-Lower running costs than HID lighting.
-12000 lumen output directly above plants.
*All Envirolites Compact Fluorescent Lamp’s are self ballasted lamps. This means that you don't need anything special to make them work. All you need to do is screw them in to a CFL lead and plug them in to the wall. We recommend these CFL leads for growers who wish to add extra light to their grow room by hanging CFL’s vertically in-between the plants. If you are using CFL’s over your plants then it is best to use them in a reflector.
