Hey folks, started doing this with my ladies as I don't have full automation in my setup yet, and each morning and evening requires a few minutes of my attention. Not a problem, but I had noticed that sometimes I slipped, or was busy. The good thing is that all of the electronic components are on timers.
However, I have increased the duration of the dark period to 13 hours, in order to give myself some breathing room on giving 12 hours of darkness. The cfm I'm pushing causes way too much passive intake, so this requires me to make way for air in the day, then seal it up at night for darkness. Timers aside, I'm the weakest link in the system.
In any case, has anyone ever done this? Extend darkness by a little bit? Results? Thoughts? Open to suggestions from people who know about this. Thanks!
